"I adore your doodles... I swear looking at those bunnies lowers my blood pressure, calms my mind and makes me smarter. Who needs meditation when there are bunnies?"

Our eyes were trained on Mars,
Much closer than those stars.
The angry orb of red:
Green myths for us to dread.
It seemed so very clear,
Green Martians we should fear.
Then today crash-landed,
Purple pods, now stranded.
Out slid one jiggly goo,
Who said his name was Lou.
We asked if he was mean,
He laughed, “not even green!” “We’re not from Mars” he said,
“That rock is day-old bread.”
“We come from planet Glrrn,”
Chimed-in a glop named Zrrn. “And eat blue spaghetti,” Glibbed a glob named Gletty.
And ‘though blue pasta’s nice,
Lou craved Earth’s yellow spice.
From orbits far away,
They flew for half a day!
But thought it worth their while,
To taste some rice with style.
Silly us watching Mars,
When out beyond our stars,
Live Glrrnians, so nice,
And fond of Saffron rice.
Each a pleasant fellow,
Jiggling like Jello.
