Well I missed a few days, but I’m back.  If you’re wondering what I’m talking about, I’ve been enjoying a fun project launched by the courageous crew at A Small Nation. It’s called Show & Don’t Tell and today’s prompt was to focus on one word that your nation makes you feel and then make something that visually represents it in 10 minutes.   Big surprise, I made a drawing.

My word is “floaty”. That’s how my nation, my tribe, my peeps make me feel when we are on the same wavelength. I feel light inside, buoyant, like I can take to the air. Floaty.  

It’s something about knowing that you made someone else smile, or gave them a new way to look at themselves and say I’ve got something shiny inside. Something to radiate out and share with the world. That’s what I’m aiming for, and when I get that clicking with someone in my tribe, well you just can’t keep my fet on the ground.
