These and those and
Things that sit upon the nose and
Those that sing of rust and rose and
Such bewildered shaggy toes and
A neck that’s a story of sunny freckled days
Like today
.
But egrets regrets are far and few but
I knew once a Greta too but
She was shy of stalks and petals but
Danced among the swaying palms where love evolved
Revolved and but again
It was love
.
My stampede stands still until
Words unsaid are spoke until
A sunny freckled day
Today but
Love tomorrow and away
The rhinos play but
Carefully .
Peaceful creatures peacefully smile
And for a while
And for a while until
But already
Smiling parallels and
Peace until
Peaceful creatures all
And you but
That and this too
And you
And I
That is I
Me too
