Earlier today, well technically yesterday, I got that tickle – that little thing where words beckon me to play from some squishy corner of my mind. What I’ve come to learn is that tickle is actually my poetry muse reaching out to me, but alas I didn’t get to sit down at the time to write and the moment passed. I spent the rest of the day in a mope without knowing why until just now. Oh Erato forgive me, I did not mean to stand you up. What penance would you ask of me that I might bask in your favor once again?
