Last night was awesome! I went to the swing dance and to the art opening. At the art party I got to read some of my poems to a group of people sitting around a campfire. Fire and poetry under the stars is a fine thing. But the highlight of my evening was earlier at the dance: My friend Birda who is a dance teacher had put the event together and since there was a shortfall of guys at the dance she had been dancing lead all night. Well I finally got to dance with her and she was beaming the whole time, but her smile when I dipped her at the end of the song was 10,000 watts of pure joy for both of us.
First world problem: when you get a new box of powdered dishwasher detergent and you bend your thumbnail backwards trying to pry open that evil little metal spout on the side.
"I adore your doodles... I swear looking at those bunnies lowers my blood pressure, calms my mind and makes me smarter. Who needs meditation when there are bunnies?"

Fell asleep on sofa. Woke up. Watching a weird french movie with a pterodactyl in it. That’s all for now.
