Posted @withrepost • @juliedrehoff Day 53: One of my favorite things about my time living in Atlanta was meeting so many true artists—craftsmen who vibrantly and unapologetically express themselves through their art. @doodleslice, one of the artists I’m referring to, was in an improv class with me although his true passion lives in illustration and poetry. I remember David being full of rich stories and always bringing serenity to the rooms we shared. Recently, he has been thriving as an artist. He published a coloring book of poems and illustrations, released his art to be printed as textile designs, and contributed a ton to the art groups around Atlanta. Congrats on all you’ve accomplished, David! The world today could certainly use more of the smiles your doodles and rhymes bring to us all. #yearofencouragement #mademyday #unexpectedpraise (is the best)
