When José met Rose
He could not suppose
The length of her nose
Would inspire love’s throes .
Petite and just twenty
Of nose, Rose had plenty
But she listened intently
And ate pasta al dente
.
José had some panache ‘Though he grew no mustache
He seldom acted brash
And feared socks that might clash
.
One day a pink posy
Brought Rose for her José
“Please don’t think me nosy”
And his cheeks grew rosy
.
José said to Rose smiling
“I find you beguiling”
“Let’s spend our days whiling”
“And picking out tiling”
.
Each nose knows what it knows
Thus José fell for Rose
And this story ends like this:
With a nose bumping kiss!
