Through lenses more corrective
Should not invite invective
If you keep an open mind:

Looking back through my ledger
If truthful, not a hedger
Did I shy from the edge or
Hop ecstatic, faithful, blind?

Oh gentle dove
Soft wings of love
Once seen above
Through faceted crystal-eyed hope
.
Was it illusion?
Real or delusion?
Love is confusion
Through time’s dizzy kaleidoscope .
With the slightest nudge or bump
The images shift and jump
So don’t sit there like a lump
.
Don’t skip another turn
Risk all to love, not yearn
Now leap! Now live! Now burn!

And hop, funny bunny
Dear old sunset bunny
Hop now silly bunny
Hop!
