"I adore your doodles... I swear looking at those bunnies lowers my blood pressure, calms my mind and makes me smarter. Who needs meditation when there are bunnies?"

Day 3: I was asked by David Fox to post a painting a day for five days and to nominate another artist to do the same. Today I nominate Mary Suzanne Garvey.
This piece is called “Peaceable Kingdom” and it was almost impossible to photograph, especially because the surface was very glossy in parts and I had very amateur equipment at my disposal when I painted this in 1992. It’s mostly acrylic paint and gel medium on paper. It’s enormous – if I recall correctly it’s 7 feet tall and 22 feet long. Definitely and early expression of doodles that were destined to come. If you’ve got a very big wall, let’s talk. 🙂
