Spiny Elbows

by David Cohen
sharkwich holes, pessimistic sips
starving’s my delight
salad bowl
a deal for one
content we stare the night
growl at me with spiny elbows
footy rub the stamp stamp beat
cheesy toast
purr purr now bristly- sweet
snip snip away my worry
with grooming clipper’s care
oh tweeze me lover hurry
until I have no hair
