It didn’t seem right to draw a thousand doodles and not make at leastone declarative dedication to the woman who puts up with all my
shenanigans. me: “Hey, I think I’m going to do a thousand doodles”
her: “What?”
me: “A thousand of these whimsical drawings… by April 15”
her: “Why a thousand?”
me: “I dunno”
her: “What for?”
me: “I dunno”
her: “Why April 15?”
me: “seems right”
