Pet peeve of the day: emails that have the subject “Action Required” that then go on to say “We’re writing to confirm that this is your current email address. If this email address is still current, you don’t need to do a thing. ”
I’d like to talk to the author about the expectations n the event that the email address is not current.
When you want a better view,
I know a thing that you can do,
Call a friend who’s tall and kind,
Then ask politely if she’d mind,
To take you on a scenic spree,
And if she chooses to agree,
Then be grateful for the scenic tour,
Thank her twice, and then twice more.
