Well in a weird, almost good story, I almost got to see the Alvin Ailey performance at the Fox Theater tonight. Almost.

Happiness is sharing coffee and crepes with a couple of delightful doodle patrons. Hugs, laughter and yum. 🙂
Whenever we get a challah Julie likes to tear hunks of bread off the braids, I like to slice it. Honestly I don’t know how we get along 😉
I find this a little bit surreal and amazing. Our little Diesel is heading to NY tonight to enter the Westminster Dog show. He’ll be up against the stiffest competition he’s ever faced so who know how it will go, but it is just amazing to me that he is going at all. If you think of it at 10:30am tomorrow, send Diesel a good thought, that’s when they judge the mini-schnauzers.
If you had asked me ten years ago if I would ever have a dog, I would have said probably. If you had asked about a show dog I would have said no way! But he’s awesome!
Go Diesel go!
So, um, Diesel is a daddy! We’ve been getting texts from the mama’s mommy as the pups arrive. So far 3 girls, 2 boys 🙂

So excited! The Thousand Doodle Show is going to happen!
Mark your calendars for the opening on July 11th.
Big thanks to the fabulous Lynne Tanzer and Hodgepodge Coffee House and Gallery for making this happen. More details and surprises as we get closer to the show. Meanwhile I just want to say this: Thank you – all of you for the support and love you’ve given and continue to give me in my creative journey. Thanks to you I’m free to wander, but I’m never lost. Big hugs!
