Truly one of my most cherished memories – getting to be in an art show with the first painter I ever met, my father. Although he would never call himself anything but a hobbyist, he brought a certain charm to all his canvases, especially the animals. In his early 90’s he got particularly productive and produced more oil paintings than some professionals that I know. He was always my biggest fan and tireless promoter, even though I know he always worried about the creative life I have chosen. I miss you so much Pop.
