Another source of inspiration and a fellow who was kind enough to share a quote for the back of my book is John Carroll. John is a practitioner, collector, and evangelizer of blackout poetry. This is a remarkably approachable art form that is transcendent, therapeutic, and deeply expressive. John has built an amazing community around his practice and provided a platform through his Instagram feed @makeblackoutpoetry for not only his own work, but for the visual/literary discoveries of so many other wonderful blackout poets.
