When the kitty is pretty and three times your height
When the middle of day is as dark as the night
When the clock in the hall ticks louder than thunder
Then proportion is off and over is under
.
Stand on the floor and bump your head on the ceiling
No point in fussing and there’s no use in squealing
Disproportion is making short things act taller
Just like a bully tries to make you feel smaller
.
So if disproportion turns your highs into lows
Don’t measure the inches from your head to your toes
Be grateful for the hare on your head if you’re wise
Whether out of proportion or just the right size.
