Hyacinth and myrtle
Meter maids dispensing tickets
Inventive crickets
Syncopated jazzmen

Seasons short
Reasons and sniffs

Rusty spring
Lusty sting of pollen

Even my guile is earnest
When I smile greenshine

Over clover
And a well-chewed sprig
