Thanks to all the artists who participated in the Space Pop-up show and all the wonderful guests who came to celebrate! I am amazed at the love and support! This cool image was created by Ted Azriel. I handed our sidewalk sign and some markers to Atlanta Illustrator and author, David Doodleslice Cohen and asked him make a sign for the party! He delivered—and then Ted delivered this cool piece of David! Sketch Society this Wednesday! This is a group where all artists of legal bar-going age are welcome to come, hangout with other artists, make any art portable enough to do in a bar booth, and have fun. Join us Wednesday for the Atlanta Sketch Society It’s a drink & draw gathering held every Wednesday at 8pm at Trackside Tavern in Decatur. We welcome artists of all skill levels and styles. We’re also nice to poets, photographers, basically anyone who wants to hang out and talk about and/or make art. Bring your own sketch book, but ya gotta buy your drinks at the bar 😊👍 . Come out and see the incredible assortment of art brought by artists from all over atlanta, including coloring books and prints by David Doodleslice Cohen, Author & Illustrator of Color Me With Hugs! There will be a special area for kids to hang their works on paper, so encourage your children to create something spacey and inspire them to learn about science! Art and Science go so well together! (Although the deadline has passed for adult submissions, kids are still welcome to submit and will be able to bring theirs.)
