I’d like to see the word pluck make a comeback. Not the verb, goodness know there are enough factory chicken farms to ensure that “to pluck” never disappears from the English language. I’m talking about the noun: Pluck – spirited and determined courage. I want to hear people admiring so and so’s pluck, I want to read about people showing their pluck and being recognized for it.
I’ll get the ball rolling: Crys has more pluck than she knows. Laurie carries her pluck with a lightness and grace that belies the depth of her mettle. And if you ever want to experience the energy density stored in one person’s pluck just tell Sherry she can’t do something 😉
And be sure to tune in next time for aplomb.
